Mike and his wife of 36 years are the parents of three adult children and currently have two grandchildren. After earning his Computer Engineering degree, Mike joined McDonnell Douglas, eventually becoming a Lead Engineer during his 10 years there. While working in Combat Flight Simulations, Mike helped to prototype new systems, train pilots for current combat situations, and market fighter aircraft. Mike then left McDonnell Douglas to join the staff of Calvary Church as the first full-time Children’s and Family Ministries Director. Mike eventually became an Executive Pastor at Calvary, leading teams and ministries in ministry, technology, and finances. Mike also serves on the board of The Collective Thread, another local non-profit.

Mike has seen the impact of substance abuse in his family of origin as well as in the community. He believes in the potential of redemption in all and is excited about serving in an organization that seeks to support redemptive life movements through artistic expression.
