Executive Director

After finishing her bachelor’s in communications at Southeast Missouri State, Julie began her career in the nonprofit sector. In 2014 she completed a master’s in human resources at Webster University. Julie spent time with two local Girl Scout councils before serving as Executive Director at Immigrant Home English Learning Program.

Julie has witnessed firsthand the impact of Substance Use Disorder and mental health challenges within her family. She saw the transformative power of the arts when her formerly incarcerated nephew used writing and music to heal, grow, and build a path toward a potential career. This experience deepened her passion for youth empowerment and inspired her commitment to making the expressive arts accessible to those in need.
