Creative Advisory Board
The Creative Advisory Board (CAB) is a group of young adult participants who have shown commitment to their art, passion for Hope Creates and success in their recovery. The CAB is a committee of the Board. The members work with Hope Creates leadership to develop and improve programs and enhance relevance of programs for participants. A key principle in community engagement is to design “with” not “for” participants, engaging members in the planning and implementation of programming. We are accomplishing this through CAB participation.
The CAB meets monthly with the Board President to review and brainstorm ideas, craft plans, develop budgets, and work as a team to implement. Not only do we strive to improve our programs and enhance the entrepreneurial training of our participants, we also hope to build a sense of ownership for the success of the organization for our young artists.
